Tiger Woods’s appearance on TGL Season 2 has attracted significant viewership. The second season of the tech-infused series started in December.
This season, Woods has been away from the game while recovering from injury. However, he made sure to cheer for his team, Jupiter Links Golf Club, from the sidelines.
On Thursday, NUCLR Golf shared a post on its X (formerly Twitter) account about the impressive viewership stats of the TGL season 2. The Week 7 game between Jupiter Links and Atlanta Drive GC had drawn around 483K views on ESPN, while last season’s Week 7 game had around 380K views. This season’s views have been decent but failed to replicate the 2025 average.

Notably, last year, Tiger Woods played in a few TGL events but did not compete in any official PGA Tour events. However, his team had a tough time on the simulator and failed to make it to the playoffs in season 1.
Tiger Woods’s Jupiter Links Golf Club wins week 7 game against Atlanta Drive GC
Tiger Woods’s Jupiter Links Golf Club played this week against Atlanta Drive GC and registered a two-point win. It was their first win of the season. Woods’s team has previously played against the New York Golf Club and then on Jan. 20 competed against the Los Angeles GC.
Tiger Woods opened up about the game in the post-round press conference earlier this week. He said:
“We were just on a group text together, and we just had a lot of fun. It’s normal team stuff. The great thing is we’ve all been together here. Akshay has been incredible to be a part of this team. We haven’t won a match in a couple years, so it was nice to actually get up on the right side of the leaderboard finally.”
The Jupiter Links Golf Club will next play against Boston Common Golf on Sunday, March 1. Meanwhile, fans are anxiously waiting for Tiger Woods’s return. The 15-time major winner last competed on the PGA Tour in 2024 at The Open Championship, but he missed the cut.
This year, he is also eligible to play on the PGA Tour Champions Tour. It would be interesting to see when Woods will return to play.
