Nelly Korda is one of the biggest golf names in the world, and she has had an agency representing her for many years. Intially she worked with a boutique golf firm called Mullhaupt Management, which in 2022 was acquired by Wasserman, a worldwide talent management agency. With this, all of the big names, such as the Korda Sisters, who were managed before by the Mullhaupt Management, became a part of the Wasserman agency.
It was recently revealed that the Wasserman Agency, which was founded by Casey Wasserman in 2002, is up for sale. According to a special report by The Wall Street Journal, this decision was taken after Casey Wasserman’s involvement with the Epstein Files was revealed. Casey even wrote a note to The WSJ explaining how he does not want his old mistakes to damage their clients. According to the report, Wasserman wrote:
“I’m deeply sorry that my past personal mistakes have caused you so much discomfort. It’s not fair to you, and it’s not fair to the clients and partners we represent so vigorously and care so deeply about.”
Casey Wasserman also disclosed that with his departure, long-time executive Mike Watts will take over the company’s day-to-day decisions. The WSJ reported that Wasserman and his then-wife flew in Epstein’s private jet in 2002 as part of a trip to visit HIV/AIDS project sites in Africa.
Since joining the agency in 2022, Nelly Korda has been one of Wasserman’s most visible figures. Korda is not only managed by the company, but she is also one of their major speakers, and the agency handles bookings for her. Aside from all of this, Korda has recently also improved her form, as she secured her first win of the season.
Nelly Korda wins her first title since 2024 at the HGV Tournament of Champions

2025 was not at all a great season for Nelly Korda as she not only did not win any tournaments but also lost her World Number 1 ranking to Jeeno Thitkul. Despite a disappointing season, Korda has made a pretty strong comeback, winning her first tournament campaign of 2026 at the 2026 HGV Tournament of Champions with a total score of 13 under par, three shots clear of Amy Yang in second place.
Nelly Korda also remarked about the game and expressed her satisfaction with her performance. According to Asap Sports, the former World No. 1 stated,
“Yeah, I mean, Thursday, Friday were obviously completely different conditions from Saturday. But overall, I was very happy with my game. Kind of led into it really nicely, where I saved the best for last, I guess. But, yeah, the first tournament of the season is always tough. You’re working on stuff, and you kind of test it out, but at the end of the day, like you’re going in for that trophy. Mentally, you’re here 100%, and you kind of have to let go of all the technique that you worked on, and you have to just commit.”
After this victory, Nelly Korda plans to take a six-week hiatus from the game, claiming that golf is mentally stressful, and flying across the country for the tournament makes it even more tough. The next tournament she will compete in is the Fortinet Founders Cup, which begins March 19 in Menlo Park, California.
