Michael Kim recently called out quarterback Justin Herbert after the Los Angeles Chargers’ 16-3 defeat against the New England Patriots. The star golfer said that while he is a fan of the $71 million worth NFL star, he was disappointed by the performance.
On Sunday, January 11, the New England Patriots handed a 16-3 defeat to the Chargers. Most notable was Herbert’s performance, who received a whopping six sacks by the Patriots in the wild card AFC playoff game.
Following the Chargers’ disappointing outing, Michael Kim couldn’t stop himself from venting his frustration on social media.
“I’ve been a big fan and supporter of Justin Herbert but this was really disappointing,” he wrote on X. “Not smart enough to know if it’s Greg Roman’s fault or his (prob both) but to put this offensive performance is just sad as a chargers fan”
The Patriots will now face the winners of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Houston Texans on Monday, January 12.
