LIV Golf’s Korean GC has bid adieu to its existing captain, Kevin Na, after the rebranding. The golf club, which changed its name on Monday, is also set to play with a fresh captain in the upcoming season.
Kevin Na is a five-time winner on the PGA Tour and was among the first to join LIV Golf in 2022. He became the captain of Iron Heads GC and led them for four seasons, until the team was rebranded to Korean GC this week.
On Tuesday, January 13, Korean GC penned a “Thank You” message in a special post dedicated to Na on X.
“Thank you, Kevin 🙏 Kevin Na closes his LIV Golf chapter leaving behind a lasting mark on the league and team,” the post read.
Earlier, there were reports of Na exiting LIV after the 42-year-old golfer had unfollowed the league as well as his team on social media. There are reports that Ben An is set to join the Saudi-backed circuit but nothing has been confirmed as of yet.
