LIV Golf has reportedly filed for three new logo trademarks ahead of the start of the new season. The Saudi league is gearing up for the start of the upcoming season, and this week, Josh Carpenter has shared an update about the league on his X (formerly Twitter) account.

He shared the images of three logos along with a caption:

“Not clear on which clubs/franchises they’re attached to, but LIV Golf filed trademarks for three new logos this week. Widely expected that a number of LIV teams will have new names when the 2026 season begins. The three new logos”

This update comes days after LIV Golf had a major update about their team, Majesticks Golf Club. The Saudi league has a bold rebrand lined up for the upcoming season and has made changes to its team’s logo, which includes adding the colors of the Union Jack flag: red, white, and blue.
Majesticks GC team captain Lee Westwood opened up about it. He said (via LIV Golf):
“This rebrand represents who we are and what we stand for. Golf in the UK has a long and influential history, so it’s great to be bringing that heritage to life through our identity. Alongside a team made up entirely of players from the UK, this makes it a truly special moment and is a strong statement as we move into this next chapter.”
The LIV Golf 2026 season will start in February, and it would be interesting to see which team will have the new logo or whether the league will introduce some new teams.

LIV Golf signs a multi-year broadcast deal ahead of the 2026 season

LIV Golf has signed a new broadcast deal with Viaplay, which brings the Saudi league events to Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland, and Finland. The new deal comes weeks ahead of the start of the 2026 season.
The Chief Sports and Business Development Officer at Viaplay, Peter Nørrelund, opened up about the new deal and said (via LIV Golf):
“The quality of players on LIV Golf is truly exceptional. Since we first broadcast LIV Golf events in 2022, we have followed the league’s development closely, and we are very pleased to welcome LIV Golf back to Viaplay.”
“The league has continued to evolve both in terms of sporting level and global appeal, and it offers a distinctive, high-intensity format featuring some of the biggest names in world golf. With LIV Golf returning to our platforms, viewers can look forward to hundreds of additional hours of world-class live golf throughout the season,” he added.

Meanwhile, ahead of the new season, this week players are competing at the LIV Golf Promotions event. The tournament is scheduled to have its final round on Sunday, January 11, following which the top three on the leaderboard will secure their spots in the league.
The new LIV Golf season will start with its first round on February 4 at the Riyadh Golf Club in Saudi Arabia.
