Kai Trump gave fans a glimpse into her Christmas break by sharing a personal update from her time off the course. The young golfer revealed that she spent part of her holiday fostering a puppy, calling it one of the highlights of her break.
Trump, who has more than 1.4 million subscribers on YouTube, posted a new vlog showing how she spent the holidays. In the video, she introduced Breezy, a puppy she fostered from Big Dog Rescue Ranch.
She also shared two photos on X on January 10. One featured her with her mother, Vanessa, while the other showed her at the rescue center with the puppy. Trump wrote:
“I fostered a dog! I had the best Christmas break and got to foster a puppy. Watch the full video on YouTube!”
The update comes as Trump is currently away from golf following wrist
surgery. She recently shared that her focus is now on recovery, with the goal of returning without pain.
The surgery was performed in Pennsylvania and treated issues with her ECU tendon as well as damage to the triangular fibrocartilage complex. Trump said she will spend the next few months in rehabilitation.
Trump is a senior at The Benjamin School and is committed to playing college golf at the University of Miami in the Class of 2026. She also made her LPGA debut in November 2025 at The Annika on a sponsor’s exemption. While she missed the cut, she said the experience helped her learn more about the professional level.
Kai Trump opens up about keeping politics out of her life
Kai Trump has said she wants to stay away from politics and focus on her own goals. The young golfer and content creator made the comments while appearing on Impaulsive with Logan Paul on Tuesday, January 6.
When asked about politics and whether she felt any rivalry during the 2024 election, Kai said she prefers to keep her distance.
“To be honest with you, I stay out of politics completely. I would never run, I don’t want anything to do with politics because I feel like politics is such a dangerous thing. I think if both sides met in the middle everyone would be so much happier.”
She was also asked about Kamala Harris and whether there was any tension. Kai said there was “no bad blood” and added, “It is what it is.” (via People)
Kai said her main focus remains on golf and growing her online presence. She is the eldest daughter of Donald Trump Jr. and Vanessa Trump, but has continued to keep politics separate from her personal and professional plans.
