Following his release from LIV Golf, Jinichiro Kozuma has announced his next plans. The 31-year-old Japanese golfer will be competing on the Asian Tour and the Japanese Tour for the 2026 season.
On Thursday, January 22, Jinichiro Kozuma was released by LIV Golf after his team, Korean Golf Club didn’t re-sign him following its rebranding. The move came as a shock, as the golfer hadn’t finished in the drop zone and had performed decently. However, with Iron Heads being completely rebranded to an all-Korean club, Kozuma was no longer needed.
Following his LIV Golf exit, Kozuma shared his next move on X.
“This season, I will be playing in the Japan Tour and the Asian Tour,” he wrote in Japanese.

Kozuma has won three titles on the Japanese Tour and Sansan KBC Augusta 2024 was his last triumph. Last year he played six event on the Asian Tour but missed cut in four of them. However he also finished T7 at the International Series Japan.
