Richard T. Lee won the 2026 LIV Golf Promotions event and earned $200,000 in prize money. He competed in the four-day Saudi league event, which wrapped up with the final round on Sunday, January 11.

Lee was impressive with his game throughout the event and registered a five-stroke victory. He finished at 11-under after carding two final-rounds of 64 and 65.

Notably, he started the tournament with an opening round of 64 and then carded another 66 on the second day. In addition to the prize money, Richard T. Lee also received a LIV Golf card and a full exemption to play in the International Series.

Bjorn Hellgren settled in second place at the LIV Golf Promotions event and earned $150,000 in prize money, along with a LIV Golf card and full International Series exemption.

Notably, the top three on the leaderboard received LIV Golf cards and full International Series exemptions along with prize money. Richard T. Lee opened up about his performance in the post-round press conference and said:

“To be honest, it was pretty nerve-racking the first two rounds because you’ve got to come top 20 and advance to the next round. It felt a lot different from the regular tournaments out there that I’ve played. I just got it done.”

Lee also opened up about his performance and the golf course. He added:

“I think just the course layout, as well. It just really fits the fade shots that I have and the low fade shots just to keep it in the fairway. The greens definitely helped me out a lot. I was very comfortable on the greens this week.”

Anthony Kim has also secured his spot in LIV Golf for the 2026 season. He settled in third place in the LIV Golf Promotions event.
