So far, the 2026 Genesis Invitational has been a total rollercoaster ride for fans. For starters, the tournament’s opening round was abruptly interrupted due to the weather, preventing many of the event’s prominent names from playing their best game. One of the big names who has fallen behind the tournament’s leaderboard is World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, as he not only shot one of his worst opening rounds but also barely made the cut for the weekend round.

After 36 holes, 51 golfers are all set to play the game, rather than the original 50, and this has made the tee times for Round 3 look a little weird. Recently, the PGA Tour has dropped the tee times and tee groups for Round 3 of the 2026 Genesis Invitational, and a total of 26 tee groups are going to play the game on the Riviera Golf Course. Interestingly, in tee group 1, only Denny McCarthy will be playing the game.

World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, on the other hand, will start his round at 10:45 a.m. ET alongside Matti Schmid in team group 3. Talking about the World No. 2, Rory McIlroy, who after 36 holes is currently tied in third place with a total score of 11 under par, is only one shot behind the leader. He will begin his third round as a member of tee group number 25 at 2:35 PM ET, with Xander Schauffele.

What are the full tee timings and groups for the 2026 Genesis Invitational Round 3?

After 36 holes, Marco Penge and Jacob Bridgeman are tied for the lead with a total score of 12 under par. They will be a part of the last tee group and will kick off their round at 2:45 PM ET. Talking more about all 26 tee groups for the 2026 Genesis Invitational Round 3, all golfers will begin their round on Hole 1 and attempt the front nine holes first.
