Farmers Insurance Open 2026 Odds and Best Bets Explored

The 2026 Farmers Insurance Open tees off this week at Torrey Pines, with a strong field in San Diego and betting favorites already taking shape.

Brooks Koepka returns to regular PGA Tour action for the first time since 2022 but the five-time major champion is not among the early favorites. He enters the week at around +5000.

The event will once again use both the North and South Courses over the first two rounds before moving fully to the tougher South Course for the weekend.

Here’s a look at the main contenders and their opening odds according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

2026 Farmers Insurance Open betting odds

    1. Xander Schauffele (+1400)

Xander Schauffele begins his 2026 season as the betting favorite. The major champion closed last year with a win at the Baycurrent Classic in October. While it took him much of 2025 to get into the winner’s circle his late-season form has put him back among the top picks this week.

    2. Ludvig Åberg (+1700)

Ludvig Åberg starts the week just behind Schauffele in the odds despite withdrawing from last week’s American Express due to illness. When healthy the Swede has been one of the most consistent players on Tour. He finished tied ninth at Torrey Pines in 2024 and later won the Genesis Invitational on the same course last February.

    3. Cameron Young (+1900)

Cameron Young enters the week ranked inside the top 40 in the Official World Golf Ranking. He finally picked up his first PGA Tour win at the Wyndham Championship in August and added several strong finishes late in 2025 including a T9 at the Procore Championship and a solo 10th at the Hero World Challenge. His power off the tee makes him a good fit for Torrey Pines.

    4. Jason Day (+2500)

Jason Day comes in with momentum after finishing runner-up at last week’s American Express. The former world No. 1 made 14 cuts in 17 starts in 2025 and picked up four top-10 finishes even though he didn’t find the winner’s circle.

    5. Patrick Cantlay (+2500)

Patrick Cantlay is coming off a T13 finish at the American Express where he led the field in scrambling. While his results at the Farmers have been mixed, he has played well on Torrey Pines’ South Course including a T5 at the 2025 Genesis Invitational and a strong run at the 2021 U.S. Open.
