Brooks Koepka’s Entry Pushes WM Phoenix Open 2026’s Field Size Despite New Rule
    Brooks Koepka
The WM Phoenix Open 2026 field has increased with the addition of Brooks Koepka. The five-time major winner has exited from the LIV Golf League and rejoined the PGA Tour ahead of the start of the 2026 season. He has been playing this week at the Farmers Insurance Open and is also committed to teeing it up at the WM Phoenix Open.
The field of the event has now expanded to 123. The PGA Tour communications announced the increase in the field size of the event by sharing a post on its X (formerly Twitter) account with a caption:
“With Brooks Koepka competing in the WM Phoenix Open, the field is currently 121 players. To round out threesomes, the field will be officially expanded to 123 on Monday at noon MT, with the first two alternates at that time being added to the field.”

Last February, it was announced that the field size of the WM Phoenix Open would be reduced from 132 players to 120. However, despite the changes, the field has still increased this year.
The tournament is scheduled to start with its first round on Thursday, Feb. 5, and will run through the weekend to have its finale on Sunday, Feb. 8, at the Stadium Course.
