Anthony Kim tried to shut down the LIV Golf and PGA Tour fan fight on social media. Since the inception of the Saudi league, there has been debate about the golfers in both leagues.

Kim has played in both leagues. He started his career on the PGA Tour and was successful in the league. However, due to injury, he stepped away from golf in 2012 and did not play for a decade. He then returned to play on the LIV Golf in 2024.

As Kim has experience playing in both leagues, he shared a post on his X account on Monday talking about the fans’ fight regarding the circuits. He wrote:

“It’s wild 2 me how emotional people get over the @livgolf_league & @PGATOUR As some1 who has respect 4 the life changing platforms that both have given me I think I’m QUALIFIED🤷‍♂️ 2 say regardless of wat any1 thinks the PLAYERS have all benefited. 1% BETTER”

Notably, after the last season, Anthony Kim was relegated from the LIV Golf as he struggled with his game. However, he made his way back to the series through the Promotions event earlier this month. The new LIV Golf season will start next month.

Anthony Kim Opens Up on Brooks Koepka’s Return to the PGA Tour

Ahead of the start of the 2026 season, American golfer Brooks Koepka has left the LIV Golf and rejoined the PGA Tour. The Tour has welcomed him back with a new “Returning Member Program”, which allows players who won majors between 2022 and 2025 to return to the league.

Koepka had won the PGA Championship in 2023, which allows him to return to the PGA Tour and is getting up to play his first event of the year on the circuit at the Farmers Insurance Open 2026.

Anthony Kim had reacted to Koepka’s return by sharing a post on his X (formerly Twitter) account on January 13. He wrote:

“Lotta people talkin about @BKoepka situation. Pretty simple 💩 win a bunch of majors make a bunch of cash & u get 2 do wat u want end of story. If u don’t like it win a bunch of majors🤷‍♂️ 1% BETTER”

Last season on the LIV Golf, Anthony Kim settled in 55th place in the season-ending standings. He started the campaign in 2025 at the Riyadh event with a T49 finish and then recorded a T51 in Adelaide recently.

He was impressive at the Dallas event and settled in a T25 place. He settled in T29 in the Miami event and T44 in the Virginia event. Kim is now looking forward to his return to the LIV Golf.
