Anthony Kim managed to secure one of the biggest comeback wins at the 2026 LIV Golf Adelaide. Following his relegation last season, he was able to return to the LIV circuit via the 2026 LIV Golf Promotion. Kim later joined the 4 Aces GC, and in his first tournament for the team, he finished with a total score of 23 under par, three shots ahead of second-place finisher Jon Rahm.
This was a massive moment for him, which Kim also discussed on his X account. The golfer thanked God, sobriety, his friends, and family in a brief message following his victory. He also hyped up the fans with a short message in which he stated that one should never give up and strive for success in everything they do. The X post stated,
“Thank u GOD Thank u sobriety Thank u 2 my few close friends& family NEVER GIVE UP❤️ 1% BETTER”
Going into the final round, Kim was in a great position on the leaderboard, but he was still 5 strokes behind then-leader Bryson DeChambeau and Jon Rahm. While he had fewer chances, the golfer managed to make a tremendous recovery by shooting nine birdies in the final round, finishing with a total score of nine under par. He also discussed this last round, suggesting that if he can, anyone can do anything. According to the BBC, he stated,
“God gave me a talent. I was able to produce some good golf today. I knew it was coming. Nobody else has to believe in me, but me. And for anybody that’s struggling, you can get through anything.”
Apart from this, Anthony Kim also revealed that he knew this day would come shortly.
Anthony Kim admits he always believed in himself to win the competition

In an interview with the BBC, the 40-year-old golfer stated that he has always had the feeling that one day he would win. Kim also mentioned that while he was in his twenties, he was unable to soak up a tournament win moment with his daughter; the fact that he is now able to do so is a significant milestone for him. He argued that this allows him to make the most out of his situation.
According to the BBC, the 4 Aces GC member stated,
“I always believed that this day would come. With the support of my wife, my daughter, and my mum, I knew anything was possible, but for it to actually happen is incredible. I just wanted to take it all in. In my twenties, I wasn’t able to enjoy the moment, but having my daughter and my wife here has made it the best situation I could possibly ask for. I just want to thank all the people who have supported me when I was not playing well, and I was struggling on the verge of never coming back.”
Anthony Kim was awarded $4 million from the tournament’s total prize fund for his outstanding performance and first win in 16 years.
