After Si Woo Kim, Byeong Hun An is rumored to be joining LIV Golf. As per golf analyst Josh Carpenter, the world No. 99 is reportedly signing a deal with the Saudi league.

He was spotted at the league’s preview event in Florida, and speculation quickly grew around the possibility that he might be joining the newly rebranded Korean Golf Club, which will feature Danny Lee, Minkyu Kim, and Younghan Song.

Nuclr Golf shared the news on its X (formerly Twitter) account with a caption:

“World #99 and 2-time DPWT winner, Ben An is reportedly set to join LIV Golf and was spotted today during the league’s preview week in Florida, per @JoshACarpenter. According to Maeil Business Newspaper, The newly rebranded Korean Golf Club will include An, Danny Lee, Minkyu Kim, and Younghan Song with Captain Kevin Na and Jinichiro Kozuma set to depart the team & possibly the league altogether.”

Notably, last month, reports circulated on the internet that Si Woo Kim might be joining LIV Golf. However, a member of Kim’s team has said to the Maeil Business Newspaper that the South Korean golfer has turned down the offer. The member said (via support.com):

“It is true that Kim Si-woo, like many Korean players, has been offered a recruitment. However, Kim Si-woo finally expressed his intention to refuse and decided to remain on the PGA Tour.”

LIV Golf has reportedly signed Thomas Detry and Elvis Smylie, as per The Times. Meanwhile, Brooks Koepka has exited from the Saudi league ahead of the start of the new season. He is preparing to play on the PGA Tour again.

Si Woo Kim Plans To Start the PGA Tour 2026 Season at the Sony Open in Hawaii

After turning down the LIV Golf deal, Si Woo Kim is preparing to start his 2026 campaign on the PGA Tour. He is committed to playing at the 2026 Sony Open in Hawaii and is one of the top favorites to win the event.

Per the CBS Sports odds, Kim has the odds of +2200 to win the event. Some top-ranked golfers playing this week include Keegan Bradley, Hideki Matsuyama, Jordan Spieth, and Robert MacIntyre.

The 2026 Sony Open in Hawaii will start with its opening round on Thursday, January 15, and will have its final on Sunday, January 18, at the Waialae Country Club.

In the last season on the PGA Tour, Si Woo Kim played in 30 events and made the cut in 22. He started the campaign last year with a T32 finish at the Sentry and then played at the Sony Open in Hawaii, where he struggled with his game and missed the cut after playing two rounds of 71 and 67.

He had some strong finishes in the season, such as 12th at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and T19 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. He was impressive with his game at the RSM Classic, where he carded four rounds of 65, 67, 65, and 66 and settled in a tie for first place. It was his best finish last season.
