EA Sports’ continued marketing brilliance treated fans to another deep dive on Tuesday, jumping head first into the sights and sounds of EA Sports College Football 25. And as you’d guessed by now, they nailed it.
The stadiums took center stage as they look brilliant with an incredible level of detail compared to most games on today’s market.
Stadium Brilliance in EA Sports College Football 25
Before we get into this, just look at some of these brilliant images from the deep dive.
LES looks beautiful. Aside from the blue and white striped crowd, the mountains behind LaVell Edwards Stadium are incredibly encapsulated in the screenshot of the game (though we’d hope to get them geographically correct by the release date).
The Teal field of Coastal Carolina’s Brooks Stadium is in clear view in the deep dive. For those wanting to play with the Chanticleers for the first time, EA Sports College Football 25 is your chance.
The amount of detail they were able to showcase in one preview video is uncanny. Take the screenshot of Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium, a snowy game for the Navy Midshipmen in Annapolis.
And imagine being on The Hill and seeing Memorial Stadium striped in Cal blue and yellow like depicted above. This game nailed the details from the deep dive videos.
Folsom Field got its time to shine as well.
But it wasn’t just those full-length screenshot imagery that got the positive feelings flowing for the upcoming video game.
Traditions, school-specific mascots, the best damn band in the land, and so many other facets around the great detail EA Sports has put into the video game was front and center in the deep dive. Script Ohio from Ohio State’s band was briefly shown, but you better believe the detailed view we were given will allow us to watch the dotting of the I in great detail.
It wasn’t just Ohio State’s script Ohio that made an appearance. Georgia Tech’s GT (as well as the Ramblin’ Wreck) was on display in great detail.
Or maybe the new details from the Doak Campbell Stadium, updated from the last iteration of the game.
Arguably the best moments from the deep dive into the sights and sounds came from Happy Valley. Penn State’s whiteout is widely appreciated as one of the best traditions and hardest places to play in all of college football.
And EA Sports College Football 25 has nailed Beaver Stadium.
Combine that with the fact that they included the infamous “Mo Bamba” delay of game penalty in their deep dive, and it was clearer than ever that the designer of the game is a Penn State graduate.
But that’s just what this game does to us all who have enjoyed older versions for over a decade: Brings us back to the happy (or unhappy) memories of rooting on our favorite teams throughout the years. EA Sports College Football 25 is arguably the most anticipated sports game of all time and is clearly set to be the top-selling sports game of the year, if not this decade.
