EA Sports College Football 25: Donovan Edwards Takes Center Stage in Epic Deluxe Edition Artwork Reveal

The EA Sports College Football 25 video game hype is only gaining steam. Artwork for the Deluxe Edition has been revealed, showcasing six player names.

Attention: New EA Sports College Football 25 information just dropped! Artwork for the Deluxe Edition was revealed, showcasing players from several teams walking out of the tunnel onto the field. The athlete at the forefront? None other than Michigan Wolverines running back Donovan Edwards.

EA Sports College Football 25: Deluxe Edition Artwork Hits PlayStation Store

The other players with names on their jerseys include Texas QB Quinn Ewers, Colorado WR/CB Travis Hunter, Ohio State RB Quinshon Judkins, Alabama QB Jalen Milroe, and Georgia QB Carson Beck.

Leading the athletes onto the field are flags for Ohio State, Iowa, Kansas State, Michigan, Florida, Notre Dame, Nebraska, and Auburn.

The artwork was found on the PlayStation store‘s listing of the Deluxe Edition, with the game info stating, “In EA SPORTS™ College Football 25, experience explosive gameplay variety across 134 FBS schools and immerse yourself in the iconic atmospheres of college football as you chase college greatness.”

While this isn’t the artwork for the standard edition, fans will certainly debate the players gracing the cover. Edwards taking center stage will have some confounded, as he is coming off a disappointing season with just 119 carries, 497 rushing yards, and five touchdowns.

However, the Wolverines are fresh off a national championship victory, so it’s only right they are represented in the premier spot.

Edwards flashed his brilliance in 2022, stepping up when starter Blake Corum was injured. He generated 991 yards and seven TDs on the ground, averaging 7.1 yards per carry, adding 200 receiving yards and two scores for good measure.

The talent is there for him to be an explosive juggernaut for the Wolverines with Corum off to the NFL, but having an inexperienced QB behind an entirely new offensive line won’t help matters.

The game is set to release in summer 2024, with Kirk Herbstreit announcing an expected date in July on the Pat McAfee Show.

Fans have been starved of college football games since NCAA Football 14, which, coincidentally, had Michigan QB Denard Robinson as the cover athlete.

    Standard Edition Cover Art Leaked

While the Deluxe Edition of EA Sports College Football 25 will be more expensive, it’s worth the price of admission solely on the cover art.

Sure, Hunter brings the excitement we all feel for the game, but Ewers instantly brings it down, and Edwards is just happy to be there. Does cover art matter that much? Once you get past the loading screen, you won’t even see it. Yet, it’s fair to say fans expected much more for a game that’s been in their dreams for 12 years now.
