Deion Sanders’s Current Net Worth Could Soon Surpass His NFL Earnings

While in the NFL, the legendary former cornerback and return man made a little over $33 million in career earnings. But after his recent five-year, $54 million extension with the school, Sanders is set to easily surpass his NFL financial numbers.

The YouTube show David Talks Buffs recently broke down Sanders’s current career earnings and how he is now set up for even more financial success in the future.

It is safe to say that Sanders is one of the biggest names in sports and one of the wealthiest in his particular field.

    Expectations for Colorado in 2025

After the turnaround season Sanders and Co. put together last season in Boulder, expectations should be fairly high in 2025.

A year after going just 4-8 overall and having one win in the Big 12, the team turned it around last season. It won nine games and was in the running to win the conference for much of the season. Thanks in large part to the play of senior quarterback Shedeur Sanders, the Buffs were never out of virtually any game.

However, Shedeur, his brother and elite cornerback prospect Shilo, and Heisman winner Travis Hunter will be moving on to the NFL this spring. Colorado will have to find a way to replace that kind of production on both sides of the field if it wants to contend in the Big 12 once again.
