Paul Skenes’ Girlfriend Olivia Dunne Breaks The Internet With Adorable Reveal About Pirates Ace’s Classy Little League Act

Pirates phenom Paul Skenes is a classy act both on and off the field. The 2025 NL Cy Young winner proved once again why fans and the entire baseball community love him so much. Skenes’ girlfriend, former LSU Tigers gymnast Olivia Dunne, shared a heartwarming video of the pitching ace stopping by on his route to spend quality time with some little leaguers.

In the video trending on social media, Skenes, while on his way home, saw a group of aspiring young players practicing at a Little League field. The RHP immediately pulled over while on a video call with Dunne and spent time with the players, guiding them, chatting with them, signing multiple autographs, and playing catch.

Dunne shared a message in her caption while reacting to her boyfriend’s heartfelt gesture. “Remembering your MLB bf is just a boy because wdym he saw a Little League team practicing while driving home and pulled over to show me and play catch with them,” Dunne wrote on social media.

Livvy has been an active spectator at most of the Pirates games that Skenes has started this season. The two-time All-Star is having a lively campaign so far, with a 6-5 record, a 2.84 ERA, 89 strikeouts, and a 0.93 WHIP (ranked third in the league).

While the Fullerton native made an effective start against the LA Dodgers at PNC Park on Tuesday, the bullpen relievers failed to back him up, resulting in a ten-run seventh inning and a 12-3 loss in the series opener.

Paul Skenes Will be Hoping to Break His Five-Game Winless Run

Skenes is winless in his last five starts this season, a stretch that includes three straight losses at the end of May. While the Pirates ace didn’t register a loss against the Dodgers tonight, his winless streak was nonetheless extended, which will evidently frustrate the reigning Cy Young winner.

Skenes will now aim to secure the elusive seventh win of the campaign when he takes the mound in the series finale against the Miami Marlins on Sunday at PNC Park. Skenes’ start against Miami will also mark the conclusion of Pittsburgh’s six-game homestand before they hit the road to face the Oakland Athletics and the Colorado Rockies.
