It’s no secret that in the increasingly competitive world of college football, programs are trying their best to find any way possible to recruit the best talent. However, if comments made by Ohio State’s new 5-star commit Jamier Brown are to be believed, things have gone way beyond bizarre.
According to young Jamier Brown, he was given a shock proposition by a couple of schools, with them saying they’d offer him women if he decided to commit to them.
“But a couple of schools have offered a couple females out for me to commit to that school,” Brown said in what might be the craziest NIL offer in recent memory.
Jamier Brown did not specifically name the school though. Ohio State was one of many top schools pursuing the five-star talent.
What are Jamier Brown’s Strengths?
There’s a lot Brown brings to the table beyond just the regular football player joining a college program for the first time. He is also a standout sprinter and helped Big Walnut win the 2026 OHSAA Boys Division II track and field team title.
“I just love to compete,” Brown said, per Cleveland.com.
“I mean, honestly, I wouldn’t have nothing else to do if I didn’t run track. … I know I had another chance to win state, so why not?”
And it’s some of that incredible running ability that makes him one of the top 20 players in the country, as well as one of the top wide receivers in the 2027 class.
Ryan Day and his staff realized that potential early, and with top talent such as Jeremiah Smith destined for the NFL draft, it’s Jamier Brown who will be the wide receiver for the future as far as the Buckeyes are concerned.
