The first of two UCF players to reach our top 10 fastest players list, RJ Harvey just simply outran the Oklahoma State defense on Saturday. Harvey took a carry through the middle and ran past the defense by hitting 20.6 mph at his fastest.
T9) Xavier Arline, QB, Navy: 20.6 mph
Xavier Arline has provided a spark for the Navy Midshipmen offense. He made the right read here before Arline hit a top speed of 20.6 mph on a long touchdown run against UAB.
T7) Damien Martinez, RB, Oregon State: 20.7 mph
Damien Martinez is an incredibly gifted running back. Martinez has great vision and has shown off his elite speed this season as well. Against Stanford, he bounced a run outside and hit 20.7 mph as he sprinted past Cardinal defenders.
T7) Keenan Garber, DB, Kansas State: 20.7 mph
It’s a week of pick-sixes on the fastest players of the week as Keenan Garber makes his first appearance. Garber flashed brilliance with his read-and-react ability on this pick-six that saw him hit 20.7 mph on the radar.
T5) Khalil Dawsey, DB, Delaware: 20.9 mph
Yes, we’re watching the Delaware Fighting Blue Hens and you should be too. Khalil Dawsey nabbed a pick off Campbell and returned it 100 yards for a score, hitting 20.9 mph on his return.
T5) Abu Sama III, RB, Iowa State: 20.9 mph
Abu Sama III has officially broken out and the Big 12 is on notice. Sama had a great outing against BYU and hit 20.9 mph on a long touchdown run against the Cougars.
4) Kobe Hudson, WR, UCF: 21.0 mph
The rain couldn’t slow UCF down and Kobe Hudson had no trouble running past Oklahoma State defenders. On a free play, John Rhys Plumlee heaved it up to Hudson who then hit 21.0 mph as he rocketed past Cowboys’ defenders.
3) Rayuan Lane III, DB, Navy: 21.6 mph
Making waves with his near-100-yard interception return for a touchdown, Rayuan Lane III iced the game for Navy against UAB in Week 11. He picked off a pass and Lane then hit 21.6 mph on his return.
2) Jayden Daniels, QB, LSU: 21.8 mph
It was a Heisman-worthy performance for Jayden Daniels against Florida. Like last season when a specific quarterback ran wild in this rivalry, Daniels hit 21.8 mph as he ran past the Gators’ defense.
1) Troy Franklin, WR, Oregon: 22.3 mph
Troy Franklin wowed in Week 11 against USC. During a dominant first quarter, Franklin used his elite speed to put two different defenders in a proverbial blender. Franklin hit 22.3 mph as he sprinted to the end zone.
