T10) Phil Mafah, RB, Clemson: 20.6 mph
Getting the Clemson Tigers on the board three times against Notre Dame, Phil Mafah was the reason Clemson upset the Irish. Mafah took this carry and reached 20.6 mph after bouncing a run outside to score his first touchdown of the day.
T10) Jordan Hancock, CB, Ohio State: 20.6 mph
Arguably the biggest momentum shifter in all of Week 10 came with Jordan Hancock reaching 20.6 mph on his interception return for a touchdown. Hancock flipped the game on its head for the Buckeyes and was the catalyst for their win over Rutgers.
T8) Malik Sherrod, RB, Fresno State: 20.7 mph
Malik Sherrod flipped the script for Fresno State in Week 10. The momentum had swung in favor of Boise State just before the end of the first half before Sherrod scooped up a squib kick and returned it for a touchdown as time had expired. He weaved his way through the kick coverage unit and topped out at 20.7 mph.
T8) Dillon Johnson, RB, Washington: 20.7 mph
Bringing the Washington Huskies back to even with USC, Dillon Johnson’s night had just begun when he torched the USC defense to make it 21-21. Johnson won the CFN Player of the Week with his performance that saw him reach 20.7 mph on this carry.
7) Jalen Milroe, QB, Alabama: 20.9 mph
During a dominant outing on the ground, Jalen Milroe made it look easy by rushing for four scores against LSU. Milroe utilized his speed and vision in doing so, topping out at 20.9 mph on this run to the outside.
6) Conner Harrell, QB, North Carolina: 21.1 mph
Playing in relief of Drake Maye, Conner Harrell flashed his potential as a future star at the quarterback position for North Carolina. Harrell took an RPO around the edge and ran past the Campbell defense by reaching 21.1 mph in the process.
T4) Malachi Hosley, RB, Penn: 21.3 mph
It took 21.3 mph to make school history and Malachi Hosley simply wouldn’t be denied. Hosley took a handoff straight up the gut and outran the entire Cornell defense by reaching his maximum speed in the open field.
T4) Trey Benson, RB, Florida State: 21.3 mph
Icing the game for Florida State, Trey Benson flashed his elite speed yet again in Week 10. Benson took a carry up the middle and blew by the Pittsburgh defense, reaching 21.3 mph on a long, game-sealing touchdown run.
3) Javin Wahtley, WR, Chattanooga: 21.4 mph
Getting behind the defense, Javin Wahtley hauled in this second-quarter reception and torched the Furman defense by reaching 21.4 mph to go the distance. It was a spark for the Mocs, who found themselves just short when the day was over, but Wahtley impressed.
T1) Eric Singleton, WR, Georgia Tech: 21.7 mph
Eric Singelton and Georgia Tech ran by Virginia in Week 10, literally. On this long touchdown pass, Haynes King hit a streaking Singleton, who then hit 21.7 mph on the way to the end zone.
T1) Squirrel White, WR, Tennessee: 21.7 mph
It was quite the display of athleticism and speed for the entire Tennessee Volunteers team in Week 10. Squirrel White caught this seemingly simple crosser moving left to right and outran the entire UConn defense. White torched the Huskies by reaching 21.7 mph.
