The UConn Huskies have officially rounded into form to close out February. While that’s a scary thought for most teams that are set to face off aginst them in the Big East Tournament and NCAA Tournament, one name stands out among the rest: Paige Bueckers.
In the Huskies’ most recent outing against Creighton, how many points did Bueckers score?

Paige Bueckers Drops All-Around Performance vs. Creighton
The Huskies dominated Creighton on both ends of the court, specifically during a massive run in the second quarter that all but iced the game early. Leading that charge was none other than Bueckers.
Against Creighton, Bueckers scored 15 points, shooting 6-of-13 from the field and finishing a perfect 3-of-3 from the free-throw stripe.
While 15 points doesn’t seem like that much during the 72-53 victory over the Bluejays, it was Bueckers’ all-around performance that really impressed.
Rounding out her performance, Bueckers dished out seven assists and hauled in seven rebounds. Producing a 15-7-7 line while holding herself to just a single personal foul, Bueckers’ team-first approach to the victory seemingly paid off in a big way as it set up fellow star Sarah Strong for a big night.
Strong finished with a game-high 22 points on 10-of-13 shooting and nearly picked up the double-double with nine boards.
Head coach Geno Auriemma’s postgame press conference spoke on the consistency of his UConn team who has now won their 24th Big East regular season championship.
Geno Auriemma reflects on the consistency of the UConn program after winning their 24th Big East regular season championship:
“I don’t want it to be National Championship or bust at UConn and regular season championships doesn’t matter any more. It does matter” pic.twitter.com/M2ttpTpFU9

“I don’t want it to be National Championship or bust at UConn and that the regular season championship doesn’t matter anymore,” Auriemma said of the importance of the regular season title. “It does matter.”
The Huskies’ lone loss of this calendar year came back at the start of the month against Tennessee but they’ve now rattled off six straight victories of at least 19 points.
