In last night’s victory over Seton Hall, star UConn Huskies guard Paige Bueckers made history as she continues to climb the all-time scoring list.
Paige Bueckers Continues To Build a Legendary Legacy
In the team’s dominant 91-49 victory over Seton Hall on the road, Bueckers posted 23 points.
Those 23 points vaulted her past perhaps the greatest UConn basketball player, man or woman, in the history of the program.
Diana Taurasi, who is sitting at 2,156 career points, is now two career points behind Bueckers (2,158).

Taurasi won three NCAA titles for the Huskies and was named the Naismith College Player of the Year twice before heading to the WNBA to become one of the greatest female basketball players of all time.
Bueckers, also a former Naismith College Player of the Year, is looking to help the Huskies win a national title for the first time in her college career.
Nevertheless, she has a bright future at the next level and now has a great chance to climb into the top six on the all-time scoring list.
If she can score 21 points more points this season, she will pass the likes of Kerry Bascom, Nykesha Sales, and Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis.
UConn’s March Ceiling
As always, it seems that this Huskies team has a great chance of winning a national title.
Currently ranked as the No. 5 team in the country, head coach Geno Auriemma’s team was coming off a near-30-point victory over the reigning champions in South Carolina before they crushed Seton Hall.
The Huskies are 15-0 in Big East play and 25-3 overall. They have as good a chance as any team to cut down the nets this season, especially because they have a great player like Bueckers.
