Azzi Fudd has entered a unique league that even Caitlin Clark and Paige Bueckers haven’t been in. Fudd has recorded a somewhat unbeatable stat, with a career 93% free-throw percentage, having missed only eight free throws throughout her college career. In contrast, Clark had an 85.8% FT shooting percentage at Iowa, and Bueckers was at 85%.
So far, Fudd’s free-throw record is 107-115. The 2025-2026 season has been particularly special, as Fudd has shot 100% from the foul line so far, an achievement she had also bagged during her sophomore season in 2022-23. On the other hand, Clark and Bueckers aren’t far behind, finishing their final season of college hoops, shooting 86% and 88.9% from the foul line, respectively.
Beyond the numbers, this record cements Fudd’s legacy as one of the purest shooters in college hoops history. Standing out in an era defined by Clark’s logo threes and Bueckers’ all-around brilliance is a big feat. Fudd has mastered the game’s most fundamental shot, i.e., carving out a niche that remains untouched. As of this season, the question isn’t just about whether she can maintain her 100% streak, but whether any prospect will ever possess the discipline to challenge her unbeatable record.
