After winning the program’s first NCAA Championship this season, Lauren Betts and the UCLA Bruins are looking to make more history at the WNBA Draft 2026. Following the Bruins’ championship-winning run, multiple mock drafts have predicted UCLA players to rise in the draft.
The team has six graduating players, including Betts, Gabriela Jaquez, Kiki Rice, Gianna Kneepkens, Charlisse Leger-Walker and Angela Dugalic. If all six end up being selected, they will become the first collegiate program in WNBA history to have six prospects selected in a single draft, according to ESPN.
The Bruins’ seniors were key contributors in their run to the title. The seniors scored all of the Bruins’ 51 points in their Final Four matchup against the Texas Longhorns. They also combined to score UCLA’s 79 points in the championship game against the South Carolina Gamecocks.
Let’s take a closer look at where the Bruins’ seniors are predicted to land in the WNBA draft 2026.
WNBA Draft 2026: Where Will UCLA’s Prospects Land?
6-foot-7 center Lauren Betts averaged 17.1 points, 8.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game for the Bruins, shooting 58.2%. She was named the Most Outstanding Player in the Final Four and is projected to go in the top five.
Gabriela Jaquez also climbed the charts with her performance in the championship game, as she finished with 21 points and 10 rebounds against the Gamecocks. Multiple mock drafts have her being selected at No. 11 by the Washington Mystics.
Kiki Rice averaged 14.9 ppg, 5.9 rpg and 4.3 apg her senior year, shooting 49.0%, including 38.5% from 3-point range. Rice’s projection for the WNBA draft 2026 varies widely, but she is largely expected to be a lottery pick.
Gianna Kneepkens, who averaged 12.8 ppg, 3.1 rpg and 2.9 apg last season, is expected to be drafted within the first 15 picks. Multiple mock drafts have her going to the Atlanta Dream at No. 13.
Angela Dugalic is expected to be picked by the Connecticut Sun at No. 15 after averaging 9.0 ppg and 5.6 rpg for the national champions. Lastly, guard Charlisse Leger-Walker is expected to fall to the second round after recording 8.4 ppg, 4.0 rpg and 5.6 apg.
