The 2026 WNBA All-Star is in full swing, and the event featured a surprising collaboration between Caitlin Clark and Barack Obama. The former President of the U.S. was seen at the All-Star weekend. Meanwhile, Clark and her All-Star teammates, Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell, shared some moments with other stars.
Obama’s newly opened Obama Presidential Center in Chicago is being used as the practice facility by the league. A fan shared the clip on X, in which the Indiana Fever guard was seen in conversation with the former Democrat before they posed for a picture together. Other Fever All-Stars also joined the frame after some time. The user wrote:
“Barrack Obama and Caitlin Clark meet (then Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell join)”
Obama further engaged with other players at his facility but revealed that he won’t be able to attend the All-Star game due to previous engagements.
The former POTUS has been a fan of the league since his time in office. He was also the first President to attend a WNBA game in 2010.

Caitlin Clark, her boyfriend, the Indiana Pacers’ G-League team’s development coach Connor McCaffrey, and their family have recently received criticism for their political affiliations. However, she has not publicly taken any political stance or expressed support for any political side.
When a fan tried to take a dig at Clark for her political affiliations, her brother Colin Clark responded with a GIF.
The users speculated that the family voted for Kamala Harris in the election. Meanwhile, Clark has looked more comfortable before the teams went into the All-Star break. In the last game on Wednesday against the Connecticut Sun, she led the team with a double-double of 27 points and 22 assists.
The Fever will feature three players in the All-Star lineup. While Boston will play for Team Spoon in the All-Star game, which will be led by Caitlin Clark, Mitchell will be part of Team Coop, under Paige Bueckers.
