Washington Mystics vs Indiana Fever Starting Lineups and Depth Charts Tonight (May 15) | 2026 WNBA Season

The Washington Mystics and Indiana Fever lock horns on Friday night at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Both teams are 1-1 to tip off the 2026 WNBA season. The Mystics won 68-65 on opening night against the Toronto Tempo but fell 98-93 in overtime to the New York Liberty in their second game.

Sonia Citron, Shakira Austin and Kiki Iriafen had solid games, despite inefficient shooting nights. Citron had 17 points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals. While she missed eight of her 12 attempts, the second-year guard took 10 trips to the foul line and made nine shots.

Austin scored 16 with 10 rebounds on 6 of 13 shots, while Iriafen tallied a team-high 20 points and 12 rebounds on 7 of 13 shots. The other struggled to make a significant impact, which contributed to the Mystics’ loss in crunch time.

On the other hand, Caitlin Clark and the Fever started the season with a 107-104 loss to the Dallas Wings, but bounced back with an 87-78 win over the Los Angeles Sparks. Both games got intense in the clutch. The Fever fell short against the Wings, but managed to stay ahead against the Sparks.

However, it was a concerning game as the defense fell apart in the second half. The Fever were outscored 26-19 in the fourth. Nevertheless, entering the final 10 minutes with a 16-point lead gave the Fever enough of a cushion to survive their miscues late in the game.

Caitlin Clark didn’t have the best of outings from 3-point range as she went 1-for-7. Nevertheless, she finished with 24 points, four rebounds and nine assists on 50.0% field goal shooting. Kelsey Mitchell added 23 points on 9 of 17 shots, while Shope Cunningham scored 12 points.
