    “That Scared Me”: WNBA Fans Fear the Worst as Azzi Fudd Left Shaken After Crushing Fall Following Stunning Block on Olivia Miles

    The 1st and 2nd pick of the draft, Azzi Fudd and Olivia Miles faced each other in the WNBA for the first time. The Minnesota Lynx won vs the Dallas Wings 85-77. Both rookie superstars had equally good performances. Both scored 21 points.  Fudd had 3 rebounds, 4 steals and Miles had 3 rebounds and 8 assists.

    Azzi Fudd also had 1 block in the game and that was on the fellow rookie Miles. After the block, Fudd took a nasty fall which drew gasps from the crowd. Wings teammates as well as Miles checked up on her as she took a breath while on the floor.

    Fans online also feared the worst when Fudd hit the floor.

    Fortunately, Fudd brushed off that fall and was quickly back in the game.

    Other key performances in the Lynx’s win vs the Wings

    Apart from Miles and Fudd, both sides had some good performances. Paige Bueckers led the floor with 25 points. She also had 3 rebounds, and 4 assists. Jessica Shepard contributed with 8 points and 16 rebounds. Maddy Siegrist scored 12 points in 24 minutes.

    For the Lynx, Natasha Howard partnered Miles with an impressive double-double. She scored 21 points and had 14 rebounds. Kayla McBride had 17 points and Courtney Williams scored 12 points. Williams also had 5 rebounds and 4 assists.
