    This is not the first time in recent months that Clark and McCaffery have drawn flak from fans online. When the Iowa men’s basketball team made a run to the Elite Eight in this year’s NCAA tournament, fans criticized former Hawkeyes star Clark for not being vocal enough in her support for this squad.

    At the time, there were speculations that Clark’s “silence” was an expression of solidarity for McCaffery and his father Fran, who was let go last year and replaced by Ben McCollum.
