Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese were linked in fan reactions after the WNBA All-Star Game on Saturday. Clark represented Team Spoon, which won 129-122 over Reese and Team Coop.
After Jonquel Jones was announced as the MVP and accepted her trophy, Clark’s name was called out. She looked confused as she walked up to the mic. Fans on social media noticed that just as Clark’s name was announced, Reese appeared to stop clapping.
What unfolded might be purely coincidental; however, fans suspected a deeper reason. There were also some who denied any connection for her reaction.
Clark had 17 points along with four rebounds and five assists in 21 minutes. Reese failed to score a single point but contributed five rebounds and four assists in nine minutes.

Reese, on the other hand, had a hilarious exchange with A’ja Wilson. The Aces star said she accidentally blocked Reese’s shot, and the duo ended up having a laugh. Wilson later on apologized. Plus, right after the block, Reese tumbled over Wilson while getting back to her position, which made both laugh again.
Team Spoon’s Jonquel Jones won the MVP for the All-Star Game as she had 22 points, 13 rebounds and eight assists in 22 minutes.
