Indiana Fever head coach Stephanie White has been in a relationship with ESPN reporter Lisa Salters for quite some time, but apparently, Fever rookie Raven Johnson hasn’t been caught up on their love life. Talking to reporters at the Fever training camp, Johnson admitted that she was awestruck at the sight of Salters.

“Don’t tell her this, but her wife came to practice the other day. And I was like, ‘Dang! You got some taste!'”

Aside from Johnson, there were a number of online fans who were taken by surprise when they found out about White’s relationship with Salters.

“Is everybody in the WNBA gay??”

“Lisa Salters??? From the NBA??? Interview lady??”

“Today years old of knowing Lisa played for the other squad”

‘Didn’t know that she was a lesbian. Good for her and her partner.”

“Damn I woulda never known this lol”

“Wait a minute, Lisa been walking on the rainbow bridge this whole time?”

As far back as the mid-2010s, White has publicly identified as a lesbian. She was previously married to a woman named Michelle Fletcher, with whom she shares three children.

White, of course, is now a mother figure to Johnson, who hopes to make an impact for the Fever in her debut season. Joining the likes of Caitlin Clark, Sophie Cunningham, and Lexie Hull in Indiana’s backcourt, Johnson will look to turn heads with her own brand of hustle on the floor.

“This Is Not Some Revolutionary Idea”: Stephanie White Stands Behind Idea of Playing Caitlin Clark Off the Ball

For a long time, Stephanie White has been hounded with questions about playing Caitlin Clark off the ball. In a recent Zoom call held by the WNBA, White defended this idea.

“This is not some revolutionary idea…In order to alleviate how hard she has to work on every single possession, it’s important to get her off the ball some times.”

With the addition of another playmaker in Johnson, White can indeed explore the possibility of getting Clark off the ball more frequently this coming season.
