Courtney Williams is back streaming the WNBA All-Star weekend with her “StudBud” Natisha Hiedeman, and it didn’t take long for them to look around for “President” Caitlin Clark. The duo gave that moniker to Clark at the 2025 event, which became a running joke. Williams and Hiedeman admitted to calling the Indiana Fever superstar whenever they got stuck, and their issues were resolved instantly.
On Thursday’s stream, as players arrived at their hotel for the All-Star weekend in Chicago, Williams was heard calling for the “President” Clark again to solve a $1800 problem.
“Where’s Caitlin Clark? Call the president, brother, ain’t no way they charging me $1800,” Williams said.
Williams was presumably charged for something at her hotel, which she didn’t approve of. The requests to the “President” worked last year, as the All-Star weekend was in Indiana, where Clark is undoubtedly a very influential person.
Chicago isn’t a familiar place for Clark, but after last year’s experience, it’s hard to imagine that the “StudBudz” would hesitate to reach out to her if stuck somewhere.
Caitlin Clark doesn’t seem to be in Chicago as of Thursday
While most players joined the All-Star weekend festivities on Thursday, Caitlin Clark didn’t appear to be among those present. Aside from Courtney Williams and Natisha Hiedeman, Paige Bueckers, A’ja Wilson, Kelsey Mitchell, Aliyah Boston, Azzi Fudd and Napheesa Collier were among the several players present for the orange carpet.
It appears that Clark was in her hometown of Des Moines, Iowa. Her hairdresser shared a picture of the superstar guard’s latest makeover ahead of the All-Star weekend, which suggested Clark was at home.
Clark should likely make her way to Chicago on Friday when the events begin. The Skills Night will begin at 8 pm ET, which includes the Shooting Stars and 3-Point Contest.
The game will be on Saturday. Clark will suit up for Team Spoon and lead them against Paige Bueckers’ Team Coop. The Fever superstar will play alongside Aliyah Boston, A’ja Wilson, Olivia Miles, Courtney Williams, Allisha Gray, Rhyne Howard, Kiki Iriafen, Jonquel Jones, Nneka Ogwumike and Jessica Shepard.
