Cason Wallace Sends 4-Word Message to Girlfriend Kiki Rice After National Championship Win

OKC Thunder star Cason Wallace congratulated his girlfriend, UCLA guard Kiki Rice, after she helped the Bruins dominate the South Carolina Gamecocks 79-51 and secure their first women’s basketball championship on Sunday.

After the game, Wallace sent Rice a message via an Instagram story:

    “Welcome to the club.”

Wallace had earlier expressed his excitement at seeing Rice compete in March Madness. In an interview with “The Oklahoman” on Saturday, Wallace said that “it’s fun seeing them do their thing, win and have fun.”

Wallace played the 2022-23 season with the Kentucky Wildcats before turning pro. He was part of the sixth-seeded team that lost in the second round to No. 3 Kansas State 75-69. The Dallas Mavericks made him the 10th pick of the 2023 draft before trading him and Davis Bertans to the Thunder for the 12th pick.

In 2025, Wallace played a key role in securing the franchise’s first championship. The defensive ace hopes to help his team defend the title this season.
