Boston is averaging 17.1 points, 8.6 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 1.0 steals per game, while Wilson is putting up 25.7 points, 9.4 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per contest.

WNBA legend Candace Parker recently shared her predictions for the league’s end-of-season awards in a graphic uploaded to her podcast’s X account. Parker predicted Minnesota Lynx guard Olivia Miles will win the Rookie of the Year award. For the Coach of the Year award, she feels it will be Indiana Fever coach Stephanie White. For the Defensive Player of the Year, Parker named Fever forward Aliyah Boston and Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson. She also named Boston or New York Liberty star Breanna Stewart as the MVP

As mentioned, Parker and Boston are co-hosts of the “Post Moves” podcast, which fans believe is why Parker picked Boston for the MVP award.

“My girl Candace just got inducted into the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame, and honestly, there’s no one more deserving than her. I mean, you take it back to back-to-back championships at Tennessee, seven-time All-Star, two-time WMVP, Olympic gold medals, and the only player to win a WNBA championship with three different franchises. Parker is widely regarded as one of the greatest women’s basketball players of all time, best known for her 12 years with the Los Angeles Sparks from 2008 to 2020.
