It’s been a while since WNBA fans got to see Caitlin Clark in action. If her social media activity is any indication, CC is keeping herself busy in the gym during a potentially extended offseason.

On Friday, the Indiana Fever superstar went on Instagram to post photos of a recent practice session. Among the netizens who expressed positive reactions to these images, Clark’s biggest fan made sure to get a comment in.

“Shoe game omg,” Clark’s boyfriend Connor McCaffery commented.

It’s interesting that McCaffery, who started dating Caitlin Clark in April 2023, called attention to her “shoe game” when there is feverish anticipation for the release of her sneaker line.

Last summer, Nike unveiled Clark’s signature logo and announced that her first-ever signature shoe would be released in 2026. Clark is the latest high-profile name from the WNBA to get her own shoe in recent years, following the likes of Sabrina Ionescu, A’ja Wilson, and Angel Reese.

While McCaffery drew attention to the Nike Kobe 6 PEs that his girlfriend was sporting, other fans are certainly thinking about the next time that they’ll see Clark competing in a WNBA game. The last time CC saw action in the league was in mid-July; though she did everything she could to overcome an injury-riddled sophomore season, Clark was eventually ruled out for the rest of the 2025 season.

Her Fever teammates went on to defy expectations in the playoffs, eliminating the Atlanta Dream in the first round and going the distance with the eventual champions Las Vegas Aces in the semifinals.

Caitlin Clark Makes Bold Prediction for 2027 NBA Finals

Aside from fascinating pictures of her offseason work, Caitlin Clark also posts attention-grabbing tweets every now and then. Shortly after the 2026 NBA trade deadline, Clark posted a bold prediction for the team that co-inhabits Gainsbridge Fieldhouse with her Fever squad.

    Pacers 2027 world champions

It’s likely that Clark was excited by the Pacers’ acquisition of Ivica Zubac right before trade season ended. Next season, Zubac is expected to team up with a fully recuperated Tyrese Haliburton and former NBA champion Pascal Siakam to bolster a Pacers team coming off a “lost” season.
