Connor McCaffery is always supportive of Caitlin Clark’s basketball endeavors. This includes the sneakers that McCaffery’s girlfriend debuts on the hardcourt every now and then.
Ahead of the Indiana Fever’s Thursday game against the Chicago Sky, McCaffery shared an Instagram story showing the new “Eras Tour” Kobe 6 Protro PE’s that Clark was unveiling that night. McCaffery, who has been dating the two-time WNBA All-Star for the past few years, captioned his post with emojis expressing astonishment.

The design of these sneakers is inspired by the record-breaking Eras Tour by pop star Taylor Swift, a good friend of Clark. The Fever guard, who has called herself a “dedicated” Swiftie, was in attendance when the tour stopped by Lucas Oil Stadium in November 2024.
There’s no telling, of course, how wildly McCaffery will react when Clark finally releases her much-awaited signature shoe. According to reports, the Nike Caitlin 1 will hit shelves this September.
When this happens, CC will join a handful of active WNBA players with their own shoe line. This list includes Breanna Stewart, Sabrina Ionescu, A’ja Wilson, and Angel Reese.
Until then, Clark’s fans will stay focused on the Fever’s performance in the 2026 campaign. Heading into their Thursday night matchup against the Sky, the Fever are at no. 8 in the standings by virtue of their 6-5 record.
Despite concerns over her health, Clark has played in 11 out of the Fever’s 12 outings thus far (including the game against the Sky). She is averaging 18.7 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 7.9 assists per game.
Viral Clip Shows Sweet Moment Between Caitlin Clark and Connor McCaffery After Fever’s Win Over Dream
Just last week, Clark and McCaffery went viral after they shared a sweet moment at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
Following the Fever’s 83-71 victory over the Atlanta Dream, McCaffery approached Clark on the court, and they exchanged a lighthearted moment together. Towards the end of their exchange, Clark appears to say “Love you more” to her boyfriend.
Including the matchup against the Dream, the Fever have won two of their last three games, and they’ll be looking to pick up their seventh win of the season against Chicago.
