$30,000,000-Worth Ted Lasso Star Shoots His Shot To Get Caitlin Clark, Paige Bueckers Autographed Card

“Ted Lasso” star Jason Sudeikis is known for his comedic timing, and the Emmy-winning actor brought that same humor to a sports card convention.

In a video shared by Sports Card Investor on Sunday on X, Sudeikis approached a person to inquire about a 2023 Bowman U Now dual-autograph card featuring Cailin Clark and Paige Bueckers. And instead of making a direct offer, the actor jokingly argued that the card should be cheaper because both players had already moved on from college.

“Can you give me a deal on this?” Sudeikis asked. “Since they are no longer in college. This is an expired card. They’re not in college anymore, so there should be a deal on it.”

The seller quickly played along before explaining that the market still valued the card highly. He pointed out that a PSA 10 purple Caitlin Clark card had recently sold for around $4,500.

Originally listed at $7,000, the dual-autographed card eventually came down during the friendly negotiation.

“I would do $4,000 on the card,” the seller told Sudeikis and happily accepted the offer with a handshake.

Dez Bryant Reacts to Caitlin Clark’s Record-Breaking Performance

The Indiana Fever superstar created history on Saturday by recording 45 points and 10 assists in a 110-107 win over the Seattle Storm. She became the first player in league history to reach those numbers in a single game.

Despite the achievement, Clark downplayed the accomplishment afterward.

“I mean, it’s cool. I don’t really care,” Clark said. “I know what I’m capable of, and I know what this team is capable of. And it’s my job to help us win and be the best team in the WNBA. I don’t think we’re there yet.”

Her comments drew praise from former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant.

“CC and I have been following each other on this platform since her freshman or sophomore year of college. I’ve been a fan for a long time,” Bryant wrote on X. “I’m glad she said in her postgame press conference that she didn’t care. Her eyes are on something bigger than that night… That’s my only point.”

Whether it’s setting WNBA marks or driving demand for collectibles featuring her signature, the Fever guard continues to leave a strong mark across the sports world.
