Atlanta Dream Depth Chart 2026: How Does Angel Reese’s New Team Look After Madina Okot’s Selection

Coming off a third-place finish last season, the Atlanta Dream have been active this summer. The team made a significant move at the start of free agency and acquired Angel Reese in a trade with the Chicago Sky.

The team has also finalized deals to bring back their veteran core of Allisha Gray, Rhyne Howard and Brionna Jones. Moreover, the Dream also made a splash in the 2026 WNBA draft, picking South Carolina’s Madina Okot at No. 13.

Let’s take a look at the Atlanta Dream’s depth chart for the 2026 season following all their recent moves:

Point Guard Jordin Canada Te-Hina Paopao Indya Nivar
Shooting Guard Allisha Gray Shatori Walker-Kimbrough
Small Forward Rhyne Howard Naz Hillmon Taylor Thierry
Power Forward Angel Reese Nia Coffey Sika Kone
Center Brionna Jones Madina Okot Brittney Griner

Reese’s addition gives the Dream another threat in the paint and a strong rebounding presence on the glass. Moreover, the addition of Madina Okot gives the team significant depth at the center position alongside veterans Brionna Jones and Griner.

The Dream finished last season with a 30-14 record and made the playoffs as the third seed overall. Their postseason run came to a quick end after the Indiana Fever knocked them out in the first round.

Atlanta Dream coach discusses what Angel Reese will bring to the team

Atlanta Dream coach Karl Smesko spoke on the team’s trade for Angel Reese, expressing his confidence in the caliber of player his team has acquired.

“She makes us more versatile on offense,” he said. “She’s going to get us extra possessions [with her rebounding]. We’re going to be able to get out and run, so all the things we really like to do. That’s going to make us even better at it.”

Angel Reese played 30 games last season, averaging 14.7 points, 12.6 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game, shooting 45.8%. Madina Okot might also be a factor. She recorded 12.1 points and 10.1 rebounds per game, shooting 60.6% during the 2025-26 NCAA season.

Moreover, with Brittney Griner and Brionna Jones in the mix, the Dream could boast one of the most paint-dominant lineups in the league next season.
