Angel Reese Hails Caleb Williams as ‘One of Them Ones’ After Bears QB Shows Remarkable Poise in Inspiring Message After Playoff Loss

Angel Reese showed a gesture of camaraderie to fellow Chicago athlete Caleb Williams after the Chicago Bears got knocked out of the playoffs by the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Divisional Round. The Bears last won the championship in 1986, and Chicago fans wanted them to make a deep run this season. After the heartbreaking loss, Caleb Williams seemed emotional in his latest post on social media, and Angel Reeese was there for the quarterback.

Reese, who also plays for Chicago’s WNBA franchise, had an even worse 2024-25 season, as her team, the Chicago Sky, could not reach the postseason again. However, she stood up for the fellow athlete from Chicago in difficult times.

The Bears QB shared a carousel of images from the season, and wrote an emotional caption:

“Through ups n downs, from holidays n disasters, to love n hate. Sometimes you fall, sometimes you get knocked down. First, “GOOD”! Second, get up. Third, prepare. Lastly, go again on the road to glory.
    -ICE”

Angel Reese took to the comment section to motivate Williams, writing:

    “one of them onesssss”

The game appeared to be going far from the Bears, who were trailing 17-10, until Caleb Williams threw a Hail Mary on the 4th and 4 to the tight end Cole Kmet, who collected the pass clean at the left corner of the end zone for the touchdown.

The game was sent to overtime, where the Rams eventually held 20-17 to secure the win. The team now moves to the Conference championship game against the Seattle Seahawks on January 26.

Angel Reese to star in reality TV show after her London game appearance

As per the latest reports from Netflix, Angel Reese has signed to feature in Season 2 of the reality TV show The Hunting Wives. The 23-year-old athlete will be seen on camera in the WNBA off-season, after another decent year for her.

Reese led the league in double-doubles, averaging 14.7 points and 12.8 rebounds. The seventh overall 2024 draft pick was even seen in attendance during the NBA international game in London earlier. She was there to support her boyfriend, Wendell Carter Jr., one of the starters for the Orlando Magic, in his game against the Memphis Grizzlies.

Angel Reese often makes appearances in the entertainment and fashion world, apart from playing in the WNBA. She was part of a fashion show from Victoria’s Secret and has her signature shoe with Reebok in just two WNBA seasons.

Meanwhile, the Sky will look to improve their chances next season and try to surround Reese with better pieces and make a deep playoff run.
