A’ja Wilson’s Mom Hilariously Scribbles Out Aces Star from Photo for Bam Adebayo’s Birthday Wish
Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson is presumably celebrating her boyfriend’s special day. On Saturday, July 18, Miami Heat forward Bam Adebayo turned 29-years-old. Similar to Wilson, Adebayo has blossomed into a star in his league. He has become an NBA All-Star three times, and has been named to the All-Defensive team on six different occasions. More notably, he scored the second-most points in any NBA game with 83 points this past season.
Among those celebrating Adebayo is Wilson’s mother, Eva, who posted a photo on her Instagram account. Eva Wilson uploaded a photo of her daughter and Adebayo, but got hilariously scribbled out Wilson in red in an attempt to joke around with her. She even wrote a caption where she calls Adebayo her friend, as more greetings for the NBA star poured in the comment section.
“Happy Birthday to my FRIEND!,” Eva Wilson captioned.
Wilson and Adebayo first sparked dating rumors back in the 2024 Paris Olympics. Wilson was playing for the Team USA Women’s basketball team, while Adebayo was playing for the men’s counterpart. They confirmed their relationship later on in early 2025, and they have been supportive of each other’s careers since then with public appearances, interviews, and captured moments.
Bam Adebayo reacts to Eva Wilson’s hilarious birthday greeting to him
Since Eva Wilson uploaded her edited version of A’ja Wilson and Bam Adebayo’s photo, the former Kentucky Wildcats standout commented on the Instagram post. He included four laughing emojis and thanked his “friend” for the greeting. The comment has since gone viral, garnering 886 likes despite Eva Wilson having just over 6,500 followers. Along with this, A’ja Wilson has yet to publicly greet Adebayo on social media.
“😂😂😂😂 thanks friend,” Adebayo wrote.
