Ole Miss Rebels starting quarterback Trinidad Chambliss’ girlfriend, Alina Anderson, had a few celebratory words before Thursday’s game against Miami. Chambliss and the rest of interim coach Pete Golding‘s 2025-26 Rebels team are gearing up to face Mario Cristobal’s Miami Hurricanes in the CFP semifinal.
Ahead of the game, which will be held at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, Anderson uploaded a carousel post on Instagram that showcased what went down from her perspective in the quarterfinal. She used the song, “Island Time in Oxford” by The Chub Tuggins Band, in her post.
Anderson wrote a brief caption that alluded to both the song she chose for the post and the fact that their next plan was to head to Arizona for the continuation of postseason play. She included a candid photo of herself and Chambliss embracing after the aforementioned quarterfinal, followed by a series of videos of post-game celebrations and outfit checks with her close ones.
“About time I use this song!! See ya in AZ🌵✈️🏈,” Anderson captioned her post with a trio of emojis.
Chambliss led the Rebels to a 39-34 victory over Kirby Smart’s Georgia Bulldogs at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, on Thursday. He threw for 362 yards and two touchdowns to guide the Rebels to an upset win over third-ranked Georgia.
Ole Miss finished with an overall record of 13-1 (7-1 SEC) in the regular season, and earned the No. 6 seed in the CFP.
Trinidad Chambliss Dropped An Emoji In The Comments Section Of Alina Anderson’s Instagram Post
After Alina Anderson dropped a carousel post on her social media page to celebrate her boyfriend’s 2025-26 college football playoff semifinal berth, Trinidad Chambliss reacted to the upload with a simple emoji.
The young quarterback, who is in his first year with the Rebels after having spent his freshman year with the Ferris State Bulldogs in Division II, replied with just a grinning emoji.
“😁,” Chambliss wrote.
