Wimbledon 2026 Men’s Odds: Jannik Sinner, Novak Djokovic Lead Top-5 Favorites List

With the Wimbledon 2026 draw now confirmed, the focus has shifted to the leading contenders for the men’s singles title. World No. 1 Jannik Sinner and seven-time champion Novak Djokovic top the favourites list, with several other stars also in contention as the battle for the prestigious Wimbledon crown gets underway at the All England Club.

The qualifying rounds came to an end on Thursday, June 25, with the main draw set to begin on Monday, June 29. With the tournament just around the corner, here’s a look at the betting odds and the top five favourites to lift the men’s singles title at the Wimbledon Championships.

Top 5 favourites for the Wimbledon Championships

    1. Jannik Sinner

    Odds – (-175)

Entering the Wimbledon Championships as the heavy favourite, Jannik Sinner is returning to the All England Club to defend his maiden Wimbledon title. He dominated the tournament last year, claiming a straight-sets victory over Novak Djokovic in the semifinals and a final victory against Alcaraz. He holds an impressive 20-4 career record at the tournament.

Sinner has enjoyed a remarkable 2026 season, compiling a 37-3 record heading into Wimbledon, including a 30-match winning streak earlier this year. The Italian also captured five ATP Masters 1000 titles this season, including the Indian Wells Masters, Miami Open, Monte-Carlo Masters, Madrid Open, and Italian Open. Although he suffered an unexpected early exit at the French Open due to physical issues, a month-long break has left him well-rested and ready to defend his Wimbledon title.

    2. Novak Djokovic

    Odds – (+600)

Djokovic is the second favourite to win the 2026 Wimbledon Championships despite being on the world ranking of No. 8. The Serbian sits just behind Sinner in the betting odds, largely due to his exceptional record on grass and vast experience at the All England Club. He enjoys an illustrious record on the grass court, having an historic 102-13 career record at the tournament. He is also chasing a record-tying eighth Wimbledon crown and a historic 25th Grand Slam title.

For over a decade, the Serbian has not lost a match at Wimbledon to anyone other than Carlos Alcaraz or Jannik Sinner. His most recent victory at this major came in 2022, when he defeated Nick Kyrgios in the finals to claim his seventh title. While players like World No. 3 Alexander Zverev are ranked much higher on the ATP tour, they do not possess Djokovic’s comfort on grass. The 39-year-old’s opening match at the All England Club is slated for Monday, June 29, against Wu Yibing.

    3. Alexander Zverev

    Odds – (+1100)

Zverev enters Wimbledon with the confidence boost after finally winning his maiden Grand Slam title at the 2026 French Open. He defeated Flavio Coboli in a five-set final to lift the trophy. After this victory, he has carried that momentum onto grass, highlighted by a semifinal run at the Terra Wortmann Open in Halle, where he narrowly lost to Taylor Fritz.

His third-favourite status is heavily relying on his current momentum rather than his grass history. He has never progressed further than the fourth round at the Wimbledon Championships in his career. In the 2025 iteration of the tournament, he suffered a shocking first-round exit against Arthur Rinderknech. Along with winning the French Open, in 2026, the German player also advanced to the semifinals of the Australian Open, where he lost to Alcaraz.

Zverev’s first round at Wimbledon will take place on June 30 against Alexander Blockx.

    4. Ben Shelton

    Odds – (+1600)

Shelton is the fourth favourite to win the 2026 Wimbledon Championships, arriving at the tournament with plenty of momentum after capturing his maiden grass-court title at the Stuttgart Open earlier this month. He proved his skills on the surface by defeating fellow American Taylor Fritz in a highly competitive final. Currently at a career-high ranking of World no. 5, Shelton has won titles on clay, hard, and grass this season, including the Dallas Open, BMW Open by Bitpanda, and the Stuttgart Open.

He is all set to open his campaign against Otto Virtanen on Tuesday, June 30.

    5. Taylor Fritz

    Odds –  (+2200)

Fritz is the fifth favourite to win the 2026 Wimbledon Championships. He reached his first career semifinal of this tournament last summer, where his title hopes were ended by Carlos Alcaraz, who defeated him 6-4, 5-7, 6-3, 7-6. So far in 2026, Fritz has enjoyed another strong season, reaching the finals of several tournaments, including the Dallas Open, Stuttgart Open, and Terra Wortmann Open.

After his deep run last year, Fritz is all set to chase his maiden Wimbledon title this year. He is slated to compete against Jack Draper in his opening round on June 30, 2026.
