    Miami Open 2026: Men’s Withdrawals

Just ahead of the tournament, some notable players have withdrawn their names from the tournament.

Novak Djokovic is the biggest name in this list as he withdrew due to a right shoulder injury. The Serb played in the Indian Wells Masters in both singles and doubles draws but was not able to make a deeper run in either. He is a six-time champion here and last season went down against Mensik in the final. Apart from him, Holger Rune is recovering from an Achilles injury and Tallon Griekspoor is struggling with a hamstring injury.

Jaume Munar, Lorenzo Sonego and Shang Juncheng are the other three names who have also taken themselves out of contention for the 2026 Miami Open.

The tournament has already announced replacements for all the above-mentioned players. Here are the names:

    1. Roberto Bautista Agut
    2. Alexander Shevchenko
    3. Juan Manuel Cerúndolo
    4. James Duckworth

How the 2026 Miami Open Bracket Works?

It’s a 96-player draw, including 32 seeded players. The rest of the players are unseeded players, qualifiers, and wildcards. The 32 seeded players will directly start in Round 2.

The bracket is split between the top half and the bottom half. Each half has 4 sections, a total of 8 sections, and each section contains a top seed. This is to make sure that top players don’t line up to face each other until later rounds.
