Coco Gauff reacted to Angel Reese’s latest social media post after the WNBA star shared photos from a recent photoshoot.
The $7,000,000-worth WNBA star recently shared stunning pictures from her pre-All-Star photoshoot, wearing a metallic champagne-gold bikini. Her outfit featured a high-neck halter-style crochet top with criss-cross front straps with a metallic champagne shimmer.
She also wore matching golden crochet bikini bottoms with the top and also added a wrapped miniskirt. The post’s caption read:
“Yes, I am exactly who I think I am.”
The post caught Coco Gauff’s attention, who penned a sweet comment that read:
“Stunning.”
Other athletes, including Jordan Chiles, Sunisa Lee, Masai Russell, and more, also complimented Resse in the comment section.
Reese has been in the spotlight since Toronto Tempo head coach Sandy Brondello referred to her as a ‘protected species’ during a game on July 17 after a collision involving Nyara Sabally. The coach received a one-game suspension from the WNBA and later issued a public apology.
Gauff was last seen in action at the Wimbledon Championships, where she reached the tournament’s semi-final for the first time in her career.

After reaching the first Wimbledon semifinal of her career, Coco Gauff fell short of a place in the final, losing to Karolina Muchova. The latter registered a 6-2, 1-6, 7-6(10) win to progress to the final round. Despite the defeat, Gauff described her run at the tournament as a positive one. Speaking at her post-match press conference, the American reflected on the loss and said it had been a ‘positive tournament’ for her.
“It was a lot of positives. Obviously, it got super close and definitely going to think about the last point or I don’t even know second, third, last whatever point for a while. But overall, I think it was a positive tournament for me. A match to for sure remember. I think I mean it’s tough to digest but like I don’t know I’m happy,” said Coco Gauff.
She added:
“I definitely think I’m progressing in the right direction with the surf with being aggressive. There’s definitely some points I regret maybe being some passive like on some of those break points, but it’s going to take time and putting myself in these positions to unlearn habits and build new ones. And you know, you hate me or love me, you can’t deny the progress that’s been made this tournament. So I don’t know, there’s a lot of positives. It gets me excited for the future for sure.”
