After winning the 2026 Australian Open, Carlos Alcaraz became the youngest man to win all Grand Slams in the history of the Sport. However, the Spaniard has misrepresented his achievement at the 2026 Miami Open.
According to “The Tennis Letter,” he’s carrying a bag in Miami that says “”Youngest ever to win the 4 of them.” This would be incorrect because the youngest to win all four Grand Slams was actually women’s tennis legend Steffi Graf.
Alcaraz completed her career Grand Slam feat at the age of 22 years old, breaking the record of Don Burge’s record by 91 days. Meanwhile, Graf remains the youngest across both men’s and women’s tennis as she accomplished that feat at the age of just 19 years old.
Because of this bag label, Alcaraz is being called out on the internet for his “arrogant” display and misrepresenting the fact.
“youngest man* this is disgusting,” one fan commented.
“imagine how a legend like Steffi Graf feels watching her legacy shamelessly being erased by Carlos Alcaraz. misogyny is alive and well,” another fan added.
“Someone probably suggested it to him, cause he’s not the type that hypes himself. Still, why shouldn’t he embrace this part of HIS HISTORY, and to have it put in a place where he canit so he always remembers what he has accomplished at 22? It ain’t bragging if IT’S TRUE,” one fan wrote.
“Some of these comments lol. The way some of y’all find the weirdest things to complain about,” another added.
“Love Alcaraz, but that is shit. Come on. A little humility helps,” one fan reacted.
“Very arrogant,” one fan wrote.
“Who’s idea was this? Cringe,” one fan said.
Carlos Alcaraz Navigates Through Joao Fonseca’s Challenge At Miami

Alcaraz won the match 6-4, 6-4, shutting down those who felt the Spaniard would be eliminated against Fonseca. The Brazilian went down in the Indian Wells Masters against World No. 2 Jannik Sinner.
