The Kentucky Wildcats’ basketball program may not be going through the best of times at the moment, but their football program is making some big moves, with yet another top prospect being added to the ranks.
Griff Galloway has announced his commitment to the Wildcats at a time when head coach Will Stein is doing some serious groundwork to get his team ready for the new college football season.
Rivals’ Hayes Fawcett shared the news on X.
Fans took to the comments section to share their appreciation for Stein while taking a shot at Jon Sumrall for failing to convince Galloway to join the Florida Gators.
“Never too early for a Florida whiff 😂 no wonder Jon was on that show begging for funds,” a fan wrote.
“Coach Will Stein gives me the will to live,” another commented.
“Stein’s got legs and now NC knows it,” wrote a fan.
“Yet another Florida whiff,” commented another.
“Insanely rough week for Sumrall… Damn… That’s now 1 for 8…. That “new hire hope” is running out… Well that, and they are essentially out of money… Prayers sent boys…,” commented a user.

Griff Galloway replied to Hayes Fawcett’s post, sending a clear message to the BBN about his commitment as fans cheered for Kentucky’s newest addition.
Will Stein has made some massive additions to the Kentucky Wildcats in the short time he’s been in charge, and while his basketball colleague Mark Pope struggles to attract the right recruits, he continues to go from strength to strength.
