Shilo Sanders and the rest of the Sanders family have had several clips go viral over the years. When Shilo was still in school, there was a viral video of Deion Sanders scolding him because a teacher complained about him farting in class.
“Shilo, look at me. You think it’s a game, don’t you?” Deion Sanders had said. “‘Look, I have problems with Shilo coming to class on time for eighth-period Spanish. I also have other behavioral and participation concerns. I don’t even want to say what else. It’s ignorant. Shilo continues to disrupt my class, is never on task, and at times passing gas while lecture is going on.’ You farting in class, man?”
Shilo responded, saying, “I had to do what I had to do.” He claimed the teacher would not let him go to the bathroom.
“How are you gonna just fart in class?” Deion Sanders asked. “How are you just gonna sit up there and fart and try to be… All attention is not good attention. You’re trying to be the class clown.”
On Tuesday, Shilo Sanders posted a video on Instagram to address the viral clip.
“I ran from a whoopin’ one time, man. I was scheduled a whoopin’ when I got home,” Shilo Sanders said. “I was a little kid, I was running. He was chasing me. We had all this land, so I was like, ‘Alright, here we go.’ Then I look back and he’s running and I’m like, ‘Shoot, it’s Prime Time, he’s gonna catch me.’ So, I just had to surrender.”
Shilo Sanders Continues To Look for a Full-Time Home in the NFL
Shilo Sanders is joking around on social media about moments from his childhood. While it is amusing to look back at those old clips, he has been busy in his professional life the past few months. Since finishing his college career with the Colorado Buffaloes, Shilo has been looking for a home in the NFL.
After going undrafted in the 2025 NFL Draft, Sanders signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a free agent. However, he was released before the start of the season. He had an opportunity to practice with the San Francisco 49ers last week, but that has not resulted in a contract.
