Will Kyle Pitts Play This Week? What Fantasy Owners Need to Know About Falcons TE Status For TNF

It’s Thursday! Week 15 is here, and the Atlanta Falcons and Tampa Bay Buccaneers kickstart another round of football. The focus ahead of the game is the status of Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts, who is questionable. But will he suit up for a struggling Falcons squad? Let’s find out.

    Kyle Pitts Injury Update

Pitts has been on the injury report all week due to his knee. This week, he was limited in every single practice.

Is Kyle Pitts Playing Today vs. the Buccaneers?

With three practices under his belt, Pitts will likely give it a go. For now, he remains questionable and a game-time decision, but he is trending toward playing.

The Falcons are plagued with injuries, with Drake London and Michael Penix Jr. both being out. Pitts is their only true threat in the passing game.

    Kyle Pitts Fantasy Outlook

Kirk Cousins will be the biggest factor from a fantasy perspective. Pitts has been with Cousins for the last two weeks and is averaging over 15 fantasy points during those games. There is a lot of buzz about how Cousins has played in prime time in the past. For now, owners should look past it, but it is definitely something to consider.

The Bucs, meanwhile, are pretty good against TEs this year. Without London, though, Pitts is an easy start as long as he is playing. There simply isn’t another option that can match Pitts’s output.

    Bottom Line

The Falcons will likely do everything they can to get him on the field. There are too many injuries on offense for Atlanta to simply sit Pitts out. If he suits up, expect a big game from the tight end, who will spearhead Atlanta’s passing offense.
