Skip Bayless Rips Into “Bozo Jerry [Jones] And Company” For Embarrassing MNF Loss vs Vikings

The Dallas Cowboys lost again, and fans of the franchise are growing frustrated, especially with owner Jerry Jones. One of the fans blasting Jones is sports personality Skip Bayless, who is a well-known Cowboys fan. After that 26-34 loss to the Minnesota Vikings, Bayless went on a nearly-20-minute rant about his favorite team and not forgetting to skewer Jones in the process.

“I’m taking it hard because I should take it hard. This is inexcusable from Bozo Jerry and company,” he said. “Shoddy, sh*tty, I don’t know, he’s just a guy to me. He’s a nice guy, fun to watch occasionally, and the team likes him to a fault.” (15:00)

“We don’t have a real head coach, one’s about to come to Jerry next Sunday, well Jim Harbaugh is a real life head coach. I don’t get it,” he added.

Jerry Jones has been the target of many fans’ ire as the owner has often failed to retain top talents, being accused of being too stingy, as well as making a lot of questionable decisions and hyping up changes that were not really that big. The Cowboys have not reached the Super Bowl since the 90s, and fan frustration has been building up, with most of the blame for the team’s woes being blamed on Jones’ various decisions.

One of Jones’ most controversial decisions this year was to trade one of the team’s best players, Micah Parsons, to the Green Bay Packers after talks over his contract extension broke down. This is where those accusations that Jones was too cheap come in.

Jerry Jones Admits Trevon Diggs Still Not Healthy Enough After Loss To Minnesota Vikings

Soon after that loss to the Vikings, Jerry Jones looked frustrated himself. He sounded off on Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs, who had been injured since Week 6 and was out of action due to a knee injury and a concussion, but returned to action on Monday. However, Jones stated that the cornerback was nowhere near ready to return.

“Diggs isn’t healthy enough to be out there for us. OK? Did everybody hear that?” he said. “I said he’s not healthy enough for us to put him out there.”

This comes as there are rumors of a rift between Diggs and the team management, with this possibly being another case of players being frustrated with Jones.
