Shedeur Sanders’ NFL journey has been full of ups and downs since even before he began, with him sliding till the 5th round and getting picked as the No.144th overall pick, and getting scrutinised by the media for his allegedly arrogant and brash attitude.
A comment made by Shedeur’s brother, Shilo Sanders, on a post about Mary Kay Cabot’s advice to Todd Monken went viral.
Cabot shared that Deshaun Watson is coming out of the voluntary minicamp with an edge over Shedeur and advised Monken to name the veteran quarterback as the team’s starting QB, to which Shilo wrote, “Make me a sandwich Mary.”
Shedeur shared a generic post about opinions a couple of days ago, reacting to which, Cleveland insider, Aaron Goldhammer advised the Colorado quarterback to ask his family to stay out of the Browns starting QB battle debate.
“Cleveland has the WORST media Ever! I have never seen anything like this before. Y’all keep up so much MESS and FALSE Narratives!”: One fan reacted.
“this is a PRIME example of how MEDIA make up negativity around a player they dont like… shedeur post speaks to his perspective of life in general but somehow these guy paint this post to be a response to whats going with the browns. once again this is a malicious act by media.” Another fan wrote.
“It will serve all of us, especially the fans, if many Cleveland “reporters” would stop lying, creating narratives, & undermining players. The blessing is that most folks know that most Cleveland “reporters” are not to be trusted…which is a good thing for the entire fanbase.” another fan said.
“I think yall should keep his family’s name out your mouth this is sickening how u keep baiting him meanwhile he wants to be a brown and wants to win and you media racist are a huge problem.” Another fan commented.
“I see more and more why so many former cleveland players have a distaste for cleveland media smh 🙄.” another fan added.
“It would serve yall well to stop lying and creating false narratives about shedeur and his family. You’ve been doing it since day one.” another fan highlighted.
Stephen A. Smith Shares His Pick Between Shedeur Sanders and Deshaun Watson
Stephen A. Smith shared his thoughts on the Browns starting QB debate and revealed his pick between Shedeur Sanders and Deshaun Watson.
The ESPN analyst said that he would advise the Browns to start Watson because of all the money he is owed by the franchise.
Smith shared on 30th April that he believes it would be wise for the Browns to give Watson one last chance to justify the massive contract they gave him.
“I think it’s best for the organization and the city to give Deshaun Watson every last chance imaginable to justify that bag that he got,” Smith said on “First Take” “This is the last chance.”
Smith also advised Watson to retire if he ended up losing the starting quarterback battle to Shedeur Sanders.
